UX/UI Design & Frontend Development, Ghent University, January 2025 — present

IT Officer M365, Ghent University, February 2022 — December 2024 Developer on the M365 team responsible for developing internal software using the Microsoft stack, including Azure, DevOps, .NET, C#, SPFx, and TypeScript.

Building Caretaker, Ghent University, December 2015 — December 2023 As caretaker of the conference center Het Pand, I was responsible for opening and closing the conference center, including during weekends and public holidays. I was also the first point of contact for issues outside of working hours.

IT Officer Java, Ghent University, December 2009 — February 2022 The OASIS team develops software for education administration and student data management. Within this team, I was responsible for developing, testing, and designing the web application, extending the services, communication with external systems such as SAP and the Flemish government (DHO), extracting data from OASIS via JasperReports, generating diplomas and certificates, software installations, second-line user support, and on-call duty during critical periods.

Junior Consultant, Generix Group Benelux, March 2009 — November 2009 Generix Group is an international player in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), a standard for the electronic transmission of orders, invoices, etc. My role within the company was implementing the conversion of an EDI message into a readable message for the client’s software package.

Junior Consultant, Software Advies, October 2008 — February 2009 Software Advies was a consultancy company based in Antwerp. Through them, I worked at Zetes in Brussels in the Goods ID department, where I was responsible for the software for Windows Mobile/CE devices.

Bachelor’s in Electronics - ICT, KaHo Sint-Lieven in Ghent, 2005 — 2008 Specialization in information and communication technology. Including an internship at Aarhus University, Herning, Denmark.
